Whitecrest parking update + weekend bands

Hello again!
Hopefully, you got our special, extra email last week explaining a bit about our current parking issues. If not, briefly – the select board in Wellfleet voted to double the parking fee at Whitecrest Beach from $20 to $40, but not at any other beach town beach. We are trying to work with the board and are hopeful for a positive outcome. We have our Funk Bus, which is free to you, but please know, we’re doing everything we can to solve this for all of our patrons, and lovers of Cahoon Hollow. So stay tuned, we will keep you updated as news evolves.
In other news, we have a fantastic week coming up and hope you will find your way here.
On July 17 it is DJ Bud E. Green playing music for your dancing pleasure.
July 19 brings one of our favorite local bands, Sacred Mounds, and they’re bringing friends! Here there are at the ‘Comber just last summer – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSn8OZJptDs It’s going to be a really fun night, and odds are lots of your friends will be here, so plan to be here. Doors at 9.
On Friday we have a double bill – New Motif, and Torus. Here’s a bit of The New Motif to whet your appetite – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mqVwbBR6QYg  And here’s a link to the Torus Band Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/TorusLiveShows/  You need to get tickets asap! And if that’s not enough, Dalton and the Sheriffs. This song, Call in the Summer seems apropos – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPCbfllycAU  Get your tickets right here, https://tickets.thebeachcomber.com/tickets/details?id=8225
And per usual, we end our weekend on Sunday night with the one and only DJ Emerson and his White Animal Sounds Dance Party. Cover is $5 or free with pass.
So that’s it for us. Again, thanks for your patience and understanding of our parking challenges.  You will be the first to know when it’s all resolved.
Have a wonderful week, and we can’t wait to see you!
Your friends at the ‘Comber
