Big

down the old cottages and have built 2 brand new ones.
Each will be identical, and contain 2 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths with a 2nd floor kitchen, living, and dining area. They will accomodate up to 6 people (maximum), are non- smoking, and we do not allow pets. They are going to be 20'x25 with 2 stories of liv- ing area for a total of about 1000 square feet. Both have large decks facing the ocean, outdoor showers, and BBQ grills. Both are heated, have telephones and satellite TV. (We provide Wi-Fi serviceas well.) The kitchens are fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Each unit has one queen bed, 2 single beds, and a double size futon. Tenants are required to bring sheets and towels. Check in is Saturday at 2 pm - check out at 10 am on Saturday. High season rates (July & August) are $2500-2800. / week . Off season rates range from $1400. and up. (May, June, September , and October.) Tenants that rent for the current season will be given priority for the next season rental (for the same week). Checks to reserve the same week must be received by January 1st of the same year. It is steps to Cahoon Hollow Beach and The Beachcomber. Cahoon Hollow Beach is one of the most dramatic and beautiful beaches within the National Seashore Park. The dunes here are 80-120' high and the view is breathtaking. If you're willing to take a short walk (100 yards or so) you can enjoy your own private beach! The Beachcomber is open Memorial Day to Labor Day. We're open weekends only until mid June, and then open 7 days a week from 11:30 am til 1 am. (Labor Day Monday is our last day of business.) DATES ARE AVAILABLE IN JUNE, SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER!! This is a view of Cahoon Hollow
Beach and the Beachcomber from
the water looking
inland. The Beachcomber is the large building to the left/center of the photograph. The cottages are located to the right/center of the photograph where the high dune decends to the left from the right of the photograph. The small roof visible there is the one of the old cottages that were torn down. The Beachcomber and Cahoon Hollow Beach are both busy in the summer, as is the entire Cape. The "high season" (July & August) always rent first. In recent years more and more people have been renting the "shoulder" season. (May, June & September, October) The weather is pleasant, all local businesses are open, but there are significantly less people here. That means way less traffic, and no lines for dinner, etc. The fall months have become particularly popular as the weather is perfect for for outdoor activities like biking, hiking, kayaking, golf, fishing, etc. The weekend after Columbus Day is when Wellfleet holds it's annual Oysterfest. This weekend long celebration of our famous Wellfleet Oyster includes lots of activities , as well as many craft, art, and food vendors. The Main St. area downtown is blocked off to vehicle traffic and the streets are lined with vendors of all types. There is live music provided on Saturday.and Sunday, and our annual shucking contest attracts thousands of people. This is a really fun weekend if you're considering something to do in the off season! For
